Your name is Simon Belmont. You have a mission and a whip. The mission is to work your way through a ghoulish castle and kill Dracula. Along the way, you will be besieged by demons, ghosts, werewolves and assorted other things that go bump in the night. Your whip turns skeletons into piles of bones, and can smack candles and find the hearts and other goodies inside. |

Some fans were disappointed because it was modeled after the old Super Nintendo game, and not the newer, updated versions. No matter what you say, though, Street Fighter II is the world's best fighting game, and it's cool to be able to play it on your Nintendo Wii. It's definitely the best fighting game they've released yet for the Wii. |

With all the hours I spent playing games from the Legend of Zelda series, I could have learned to speak a language fluently, or could have gotten a Master's Degree in nuclear engineering, but no matter. It was fun and engaging. Zelda is the granddaddy of all adventure games as far as I'm concerned, and the new Wii A Link To The Past brings it all back. |

When it was revealed prior to the Wii's release that Nintendo was sending free developer kits to small scale game designers, people started to think that maybe the company wanted to open the door to fresh new ideas for its titles. Then, when it became known that indie game designers could get their hands on these kits for less than $2,000, this was confirmed. |

Nintendo has already had great success with the release of its new Wii gaming console. Of course, as soon as the first games were released and popularized, hackers started trying to find ways to create "backups" of these titles. Of course, by backups, they really mean "illegal copies". |

Along with the huge market for these games also comes the usual demand for game guides, cheats and codes |

"Smooth Moves", the ingenious new WarioWare game for the Nintendo Wii is already being talked about as one of the best Wii games far. Although, as you'll see, there are a few gripes, the game's ability to draw a crowd and suck them into seriously addictive play is making it a true "must have" for all new Wii owners. |

So many of us old school gamers have fond memories of all the original titles in the Metal Slug franchise. Since 1996 the six games - seven if you count the later upgrade of Metal Slug 2 as Metal Slug X - have provide countless hours of hardcore traditional shooter gameplay for legions of fans. One would think that repackaging them all together in a single anthology title for the Nintendo Wii and slapping an incredibly cheap price of less than forty bucks on it would make for a no-brainer purchase. |
